This site is a tribute to Pam, more affectionately know as ‘Nanny Pam’. She was the heart of her family, always ready with a proud smile & the biggest hug. The guardian of the sweetie cupboard & the protector of Dave & all of her children and grandchildren.
The loss of her is immeasurable.
She is and will forever be loved, dearly missed & eternally treasured. Xx

I missed you quietly today
I missed you so quietly that no one noticed
I missed you without tears or noise
But oh how I felt it
I felt it as I waited in the silence as I looked at everyone
I felt it at home, on the road, in the light and even more in the dark
Yes I missed you so quietly but I felt it so loudly

On the one year anniversary of our unimaginable loss 💜
She always leaned to watch for us,
Anxious if we were late,
In winter by the window,
In summer by the gate.
And though we mocked her tenderly,
Who had such foolish care,
The long way home would seem more safe
Because she waited there.
Her thoughts were all so full of us,
She never could forget!
And so I think that where she is
She must be watching yet.
Waiting till we come home to her,
Anxious if we are late,
Watching from Heaven’s window,
Leaning on Heaven’s gate.

I thought about you yesterday
And days before that too
I think of you in silence
I often speak your name
All I have is memories
And your picture in a frame
Your memory is my keepsake
